A little pun for movie maniacs. During GDR times, Solo Sunny from 1980s was a famous DEFA film. It was even honored at the Berlinale in West-Berlin and in Chicago later on. While only a decade later we would joyfully be travelling the world, the Stromeinspeisegesetz – a law promoting electricity from renewable sources – was established in Germany in 1990 which made it legal for every citizen to acquire solar panels.

Two heavily contradictory phrases collide and intertwine. While we were still searching distant corners of the world for the ideal spot in the sun, power was already drawn from the sun back home. An amusing detail enriched by the cello harmonies with a tiny bit of melancholy. But power is running through all effects of the sequencer, bass and kick. Then again, the piano steadily holds the supply unit with its continuous quarter eighths:
CAMERA AND… ACTION!
