WANDERER
inspired by the two-parter “Neighbour“ and the song “Neighbour II“, included on WÆNDE, previously unreleased

No matter where we went on vacation, we could rarely be found on crowded beaches. Instead, we enjoyed wandering around and it was during those excursions into the unknown that we stumbled upon many hidden gems that we would otherwise not have found. Ancient temple ruins, mystical caves or fascinating wildlife. Even the tiny springs beneath the bizarre rocks of the Samariá Gorge that we encountered on our endless hikes towards the Libyan Sea left us in awe.

Daniel’s Lyra is playing a low, quietly blubbering arpeggio while the cello is carefully sliding across it like a nutshell. Since there are no cars allowed on Hiddensee, we went on many hikes to explore its beauty – or we took the bike:
BICYCLE, BICYCLE!
And so our two-part“ Wanda-Wanderer” spring flows into the Baltic Sea where it eventually meets THE island:
